Another Bogus Reservation: Jim Reyes
Another bogus reserver, this Jim Reyes seems to be a hustler when it comes to dishing out one inconvenience after another to private resorts in Calamba.
Unfortunately for him, his supposed victim did not give in to his demands.
He wanted to reserve a private resort for the end of June, and was initially insisting to just walk in on actual day of his preferred date. However, he agreed in the end that he will be paying for his reservation via bank, and once he got the payment account information from the resort, was not replying to texts or calls for the next two days.
On the third day, he suddenly claimed that he already made a payment, and was demanding that his confirmation for the reservation be sent to his email immediately. He was very demanding and rude when the resorts staff spoke with him over the phone, much to their dismay, but the staff handled everything as professionally as he can. However, after calling the bank to check if any payment made for the supposed amount was made any time during the past three days, the bank refuted his claim, and said that no such deposit was made.
When Mr. Reyes was confronted with this information, he immediately was very angry, and he insisted on speaking with the manager of the resort to clear things out. It was during his conversation with the manager that he admitted that he did not pay for the amount and insisted that since he is a customer, he is always right. However, the manager explained to him that before the payment information was provided to him, Mr Reyes was asked by the staff numerous times if he was agreeing to pay for his reservation via bank, and he agreed to all the terms.
It was then that he said that he will personally make sure that he will speak ill of the resort to all people he knew because they did not honor what he wanted to happen. He claimed that he can destroy the resorts reputation by making sure people would never go to their resorts again.
It is clear that this is a case of black-mail, and we are warning everyone that any ill information this person provides is UNTRUE, since he is a proven liar and irresponsible guest because of turning his back on the commitment he made.
WE HOPE THAT THIS SERVES AS A REMINDER TO GUESTS THAT ALL COMPANIES HAVE THEIR PROCESSES IN HOW THEY DO THEIR DAILY BUSINESS. IT IS THE COMPANY'S RIGHT TO FOLLOW THIS PROCESSES, AND THAT NO AMOUNT OF BLACK MAILING OR LYING CAN GIVE CUSTOMERS WHAT THEY WANT, SPECIALLY IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO FOLLOW THE PROCESS SET BY THE COMPANY.
